Yeti Mushroom Strain
Overview
Yeti is a high-potency albino strain developed from the True Albino Teacher (TAT) lineage — itself a white mutation of Golden Teacher. It was further selected for potency and reliable fruiting body production in the albino phenotype. As a true albino (lacking all pigment including the spore print, which is white rather than purple-brown), Yeti must be propagated via agar culture rather than spore syringe. Potency testing consistently places Yeti among the highest-testing cubensis strains, comparable to Tidal Wave and APE in total tryptamine content.
Effects & Experience
High-potency, introspective experience. Users report rapid onset, strong visual effects, and significant perceptual and cognitive alteration. Yeti is not recommended for first experiences or without familiarity with high-potency strains. The experience at standard doses is considerably more intense than benchmark strains.
Potency Profile
High potency — in the top tier of Psilocybe cubensis. Average psilocybin content estimated at 1.2–1.8% by dry weight. Dose at 60–70% of your usual cubensis amount.
Cultivation Notes
Yeti requires agar work for propagation — it cannot be grown from spore prints (white spores, not viable in standard spore syringe preparation). Experienced cultivators with agar skills can maintain the culture long-term. It fruits well on grain spawn and CVG bulk substrate under standard fruiting conditions, but the albino phenotype is more contamination-sensitive than pigmented strains.
