About
Psychedelics in Recovery's Portland chapter meets Thursdays 6:30-7:45 PM at the Portland NW Alano Club (909 NW 24th Ave). The chapter addresses the intersection of addiction recovery and psychedelic use — a deeply underserved population. The Alano Club setting (traditionally 12-step oriented) represents a cultural bridge between AA/NA traditions and psychedelic healing models.
Why It Matters
Psychedelic therapy's strongest clinical evidence is arguably in addiction treatment. Yet only Austin and Portland have dedicated Psychedelics in Recovery chapters — the gap between clinical evidence and community infrastructure is massive. Portland's chapter is one of the only operational answers.
