Taylor E. Loyden, Esq. is Managing Attorney at Terrapin Legal PLLC and was named in the 2025 Top 200 Psychedelic Lawyers Guide. He drafted amendments to Washington's SB 5201 for a regulated psilocybin framework. Loyden is lead counsel for the Church of Gaia in Spokane — an ayahuasca church pursuing a DEA religious exemption under RFRA, one of the most significant religious freedom cases in psychedelic law.
His background includes ethnobotany, mycology, and Indigenous traditions. He works with REACH (Responsible Entheogen Access & Community Healing Coalition) on Washington legalization efforts.
