Mattha Busby is a 2024 Ferriss-UC Berkeley Psychedelic Journalism Fellow. He is published across VICE, Rolling Stone, DoubleBlind, and Filter, with particular focus on the intersection of war trauma and psychedelics. He is the author of books on drugs and psychedelics and is part of a new generation of dedicated psychedelic beat reporters.
Why They Matter to the LearnShrooms Community
Until recently, psychedelics had no dedicated beat reporters at major publications — coverage was opportunistic and often credulous. Busby's fellowship cohort is changing that.
