How do you actually find a good integration therapist?

I had a significant experience three weeks ago and I'm in a place where I feel like I need professional support to process it. My regular therapist is open but not trained in psychedelic integration specifically. How do people here go about finding integration therapists? What questions should I be asking?
Things I've tried: MAPS directory (one person listed for my area, not taking new clients), Psychedelic.Support directory (more options but no way to evaluate quality), general Google searches (hard to tell who has real training vs. who just added 'integration' to their bio).
What has actually worked for people?
Psychedelic.Support is the best starting directory but you're right that there's quality variance. When you find candidates: ask specifically what training they have in psychedelic integration vs. general therapy. MAPS trained therapists have completed a specific certification. Fluence and IPI both run training programs. Ask what training program and when.
I found mine through a local psychedelic society's referral list — not an official directory but cultivated by people who've done the vetting already. If there's a local MAPS chapter or psychedelic society in your area, reach out and ask for referrals.
For evaluating quality: ask for a free 15-min consult first. In that call, notice whether they ask questions about your specific experience before talking about their approach, or whether they just describe their services. Good integrators are curious about your experience first.
