PE vs APE — is the potency difference real or hype?

There's a lot of claimed potency difference between standard Penis Envy and Albino Penis Envy. I've seen numbers ranging from 'marginally more potent' to 'dramatically stronger.' The overlap is significant. In direct comparisons, APE generally tests somewhat higher, but the difference is not always dramatic — some PE samples exceed some APE samples. The confound: APE is harder to clone stably and more variable between cultures. The 'APE is always stronger' claim may partly reflect selection bias — people who successfully grow APE tend to be experienced cultivators who have isolated quality genetics. My practical take: APE is genuinely higher average potency than standard PE, but the difference is not as reliable as the forum reputation suggests. The cultivation difficulty is very real and consistent. For most people, getting high-quality PE genetics and growing them well will give you a better experience than struggling with APE from mediocre genetics.
