Current state psilocybin law map: where things actually stand in 2025

The legal landscape is changing faster than most coverage keeps up with. I want to create a regularly updated community thread on where each state actually stands. Summary of where we are in mid-2025:
Fully legal/licensed therapeutic use: Oregon (service centers operating since 2023), Colorado (healing centers licensing 2024). Decriminalized (personal amounts): Denver, Oakland, Santa Cruz, DC, many other cities. Statewide decriminalization: no state has done this yet.
Active legislative campaigns: Minnesota, California, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont all have active bills in various stages as of 2025. None have passed as of mid-year. The legislative momentum is real but the pace is slower than advocates hoped in 2022.
Federal: no change since Schedule I designation in 1971. FDA breakthrough designations are research-level approvals, not scheduling changes. The DEA has shown no interest in initiating scheduling review absent Congressional direction. Federal rescheduling timelines remain speculative.
