I've been noticing that in the days after a psilocybin session I'm much more in tune with my body during exercise. Curious if others have noticed this and how long it lasts.

Yes, consistently. The two weeks after a session are when I run best -- not fastest necessarily, but most naturally. I stop fighting my pace and start actually experiencing the run. It fades, but I use it as a window to establish better running habits that sometimes stick.

From a somatic therapy perspective, this makes sense. Psilocybin sessions often produce shifts in body schema -- how we perceive and relate to our physical selves. The increased interoceptive awareness you're describing is consistent with what I see clinically in patients after sessions.

For me it's specifically that I stop dissociating during lifting. Most of my lifting life I've been in my head -- counting, monitoring, future-focused. Post-session I'm actually in the movement.
