I've been microdosing for 18 months and have systematically tried three different schedules. Sharing my n=1 data because I see a lot of conflicting claims about which schedule is 'best' and I think more individual data sharing would help people find what works for them.

Fadiman protocol (1 day on, 2 days off): Most consistent results for mood. The off days feel clearly distinct from dose days, which helped me track effects. The structure also prevented the tolerance buildup I experienced on other schedules. Downside: the rigidity felt unnecessary after a while.

Stamets protocol (4 days on, 3 days off with lion's mane and niacin): The combination does seem to produce something different from psilocybin alone. Whether that's placebo or synergistic effect, I can't be certain. The 4-day-on structure caused noticeable tolerance by day 3-4 for me, reducing effects.

What worked best for me personally: once weekly, same day each week, dose calibrated by feel rather than weight. Monday doses set my week on a good trajectory. The longer interval between doses means the effect stays fresh longer than any other schedule I've tried.
